i was told about Stanford by a friend who moved there. He never told me how exquisite it really is, and that is because one is hard pressed to capture the essence of a sentiment in words, where experience is the only answer.
Stanford, the people, the atmosphere and the warmth (even in winter) are quite special.
I will be there as often as I can, to feel the sense of freedom to roam as I once did in the villages I lived in as a young person. Stanford has that. A stroll to the shops or to have lunch or a sundowner drink. A run in the vineyards in the early morning. Delicious food, great people and a welcome of very rare quality. thank you Stanfordians.
