Panorama Lodge is situated on a hilltop between Knysna Town and the Heads and enjoys superb views of the Lagoon and Heads and in the distance the silhouette of the Outeniqua Mountains.

You can relax on our decks and in the evenings you can enjoy a sundowner and watch the beautiful sunsets over the Lagoon. To complete your enjoyment we offer a braai (barbeque) upon request.

Knysna is perfectly situated for you to explore the Garden Route, also to take advantage of the many recreational features Knysna has to offer, notably golf, watersports, forest walks boat trips on the Lagoon etc.

Knysna has 3 golf courses, especially to mention the excellent Golf Estates, Pezula & Simola. Come and enjoy the challenging and rewarding golfing on these amazing courses have a relaxing day at the spa. Take a trip on the the Lagoon with the ferry to the Featherbed Nature Reserve or enjoy a sunset cruise on a yacht through the Knysna Heads out on to the ocean. Visit and be touched by Elephants at the Knysna Elephant Park, get close to the birds at Birds of Eden, watch the monkeys at Monkeyland and encounter the eagles at Eagle Encounters or the cats at Tenikwa. Explore and cycle the forest and coastline with a mountainbike or a canoe on one of the rivers.
