Omatozu Safari Camp is situated on a game farm 100km north of Windhoek. The farm entrance is 25km north of Okahandja on the B1 to Otjiwarongo, making it an ideal stop-over when travelling to and from Etosha National Park, Damaraland, Kaokoveld, the Caprivi or the Coastal Regions.

With only 3 luxury walk-in tents, the camp offers an exclusive and tranquil environment that allows you to experience the thrills of outdoor living in a comfortable and luxurious way.

The air-conditioned en-suite tents are nestled between indigenous thorn trees with pathways leading to the entertainment area.  This stylish chill-out area with plenty of ambience consists of a thatch roof covered open deck with views onto a farm dam and includes bar, lounge and dining facilities. The adjacent braai area offers the ideal opportunity to experience true Namibian hospitality around an open camp fire while staring into the Namibian night sky. A cosy living room with an open fire place makes for the perfect hide-away during cold winter nights.

For those wanting to rough it a little, Omatozu Safari Camp also offers camping facilities 150m away from the main camp. Situated between indigenous vegetation at the perimeter of the farm dam, each of the 4 campsites boasts their own ablution facility and braai area.

Omatozu Game Farm is home to numerous species of game such as Giraffe, Eland, Waterbuck, Zebra, Hartebeest, Impala, Gemsbok and Kudu to name a few. Although rarely seen, nocturnal animals such as Porcupine, Ant-bears and Brown Hyena as well as numerous cat species including Cheetahs and Leopards also form part of the eco-system at Omatozu.

Farm drives and guided walks are a great opportunity for game viewing, while exploring the diverse landscapes ranging from rocky boulders amongst dry riverbeds to Savannah bush-land.  Guests with a passion for ornithology can simply relax in the camp while marvelling at the abundance of bird life.

Omatozu Safari Camp offers a great opportunity to enjoy a boutique camping experience with the perfect mix of nature and serenity that will leave you feeling peaceful and recharged.
