Maggie May is a beautiful old rustic house boat on the Sunday's River, only 5 minutes from Addo Elephant National Park
There is a double bed in the main room and a couch/queen size bed which is made up in the lounge/kitchen upon request & a tent on the roof if required
The boat is moored on our jetty during your stay, we can arrange other moorings up or down river at an extra charge.
Canoes are available on request to paddle in the river for a fee.
The Maggie May house boat is the biggest house boat on the Sunday's River and is over 10 meters long and 5 meters wide.
There is one bedroom with a sliding door and a couch next door which folds into a queen size bed.
Spare mattresses are also in the boat for those who want their own bed.
There is a 2 man tent for the upper deck if there is not enough space in the cabin.
We could possibly squeeze in 6 people but 4 is comfortable and 2 is ideal
The toilet is very small for many people and some might need to use the toilet & shower up at the house.
The boat is moored next to my house which is close to the highway so there could be some noise but mostly it's quiet.
The bathroom is very small and previous guests have said it is cramped and old and is a bit like camping but we have just repainted the whole bathroom and replaced the entire bedroom and kitchen floor so hopefully you like the upgrades.
The guest shower and Toilet at my house is available if something doesn't work on the boat but we have replaced all the pipes and everything should run smoothly. If you prefer more space you are welcome to use it.
