Hermanus is situated in the Western Cape Province at the southern point of Africa. The town is well  known for its export wines and as a whale-watching destination. Our white sandy beaches  include the Onrus, Voëlklip  and the blue flag Grotto Beach, all with sweeping views of  Walker Bay. The Old Harbour Museum is a site encompassing the old harbour, a fishermen’s village and the Whale House Museum. The latter has informative displays and a suspended skeleton of a whale.
