Amblewood Guest House is situated in the fishing village of Hout Bay just 20 minutes outside the beautiful city of Cape Town. Surrounded by mountains and with panoramic views of the bay and the ocean, Amblewood offers peace and tranquillity. The mature shrubs and trees in our garden attract many birds of different varieties including the Cape White Eye, Sunbirds, Guinea fowl and many more.
Our six en-suite bedrooms are individually and stylishly designed with great comfort in mind. Our beds are all extra-length and each room has a TV, tea tray, safe, hairdryer and private balcony or patio with magnificent views of the bay, the harbour and the famous Sentinel mountain.
A full English and Continental breakfast is served in leisurely comfort on the pool deck.
Upmarket stores, curio shops, banks, cafes and restaurants are all within walking distance and the beach is 10 minutes away by car.
