Plettenberg Bay may be best known for great beaches and year-round weather, but it's also a destination for walks, hikes and MTB trails.
There are currently 16 wine farms in the area; from Harkerville to the Crags. The area currently creates seven Méthode Cap Classique style wines – these are wines that are produced in the traditional Champagne method. The area has become known as a “Bubbly Route”. You can enjoy the Plett Winelands on horseback, by bus with a guided tour, on a cycling trail or with a guided hike. The Plett Slackpacking Trail offers a selection of package options to hike through the Plett Winelands and other key Plett locations.
