For the best authentic South African hospitality nestled in Cape Floral Fynbos and indigenous Tsitsikamma forets, Tenikwa Lodge and Family Suites are the plae to be.

Tenikwa Wildlife Lodge  offers guests spacious, intimate and elegant accommodation near Plettenberg Bay in Lodge Rooms and/or Family Suites on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis.  All rooms are en-suite with showers.  WiFi is available, free of charge, to all our guests.

We are located on the same property as Tenikwa Wildlife Rehabilitation and Awareness Centre – a mere 15 minutes drive from Plettenberg Bay,  on 46 hectares of indigenous Tsitsikamma Forest and Cape Floral Fynbos.  Guests can relax and experience authentic South African hospitality whilst  enjoying nature, wildlife and the most spectacular rural scenery.

If you would like to support a genuine conservation project rehabilitating wild animals back to nature, Tenikwa Lodge at Tenikwa Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre is the place to stay!

Staying with us at Tenikwa is a unique wildlife experience. Our accommodation is enhanced by amenities that encourage our guests to unwind, relax and enjoy the tranquil natural surroundings, including a boma, sundowner deck, several dams teaming with waterfowl and the call of our lions and leopard as the sun sets.

The gardens are landscaped with indigenous vegetation, supporting a vibrant bird population including the Narina Trogan, Burchell’s Coucal, Knysna Loerie, Golden Oriole and several species of Sunbirds, to name just a few. Whether you are a Birder, photographer, wildlife enthusiast, conservation supporter or just here to enjoy nature, Tenikwa will surely charm its way into your heart.

And because we want to share the conservation work we do with you, all stays booked through our website include a complimentary tour to see the wild cats and other local wildlife at Tenikwa.
