Vuna Valley Ventures is on the doorstep of the Magical Umtamvuna River and Nature Reserve.This breathtaking, indigenous sub-tropical valley is home to 250 bird species, including majestic Fish Eagles, Hornbills and small inquisitive mammals such as Samanga monkey and bushbuck, which visit us daily.

Whether you are a small family who enjoys peace and quiet, or a fun loving gang of hooligans, Vuna Valley has something for you. This offbeat gem is tucked away in the quiet suburb of Banners Rest, and many locals don't even know it exists. You will be pleasantly surprised to find hospitality, flexibility and value for money, unparalleled on the south coast.

We offer family, twin or double rooms ensuite with private patios, airconditioning and tasteful afro chic decor. Tea/coffee facilities. All linen and bath towels provided. Serviced daily.

Our large communal entertainment area is the perfect place to chill out, read a book, have a sundowner, play darts, or plan your adventure activities. Our kitchen is communal too, so if you dont feel like eating out, you have access to all our facilities. We also do breakfast and dinner on request. The pool with a view is the place to be in summertime, chilling out under the big shady trees is the best way to let the city stress slip away. For rainy days we have DVD's for hire, and a collection of board games including 'shooter lottery' which is a firm favorite with our guests. We also cater for functions of any type, utilizing our large entertainment and bar area. We have hosted many birthday, hen/stag, engagement parties, and even small weddings.

Our canoes are complimentary for our guests, and a gentle afternoon paddle into the heart of the nature reserve to spot fish eagles is an experience not to be missed. Duiker, bush buck and samango monkeys are everyday visitors and you can spot them on the lawn in the early morning and late afternoon.

There are hundreds of activities to keep you entertained, from skiing and wakeboarding, to fishing, hiking and birding. We are 5 minutes drive from Port Edward and silver beach, and 7 minutes drive from the Wild coast casino and wild waves waterpark.
