Molalatau, "The Resting Place of the Lion", is a small oasis in the beautiful heart of the Bushveld.
At the spot where the Mogol River meets the Rietspruit, it found its way in between the Nyala and the Water-Berry trees. Here you will find verdant green lawns, colourful gardens and beautiful accommodation, which consist of Thatched Roof Rooms, Chalets, Wood Cabins and a spacious camping area with immaculately clean ablution blocks.  We provide Bed & Breakfast as well as Self-Catering options.

The resort is situated on the banks of the Mogol River, and the mouth of the Rietspruit. We are surrounded by the picturesque Waterberg Mountains. A variety of bird species provide music in the Bushveld, and the beautiful indigenous Bushveld trees provide tranquillity, calmness and protection to the hot Bushveld sun. The resort boasts two swimming pools, ablution blocks, a child-friendly baby pool, a putt-putt course, a volleyball court, and pool tables. Relax at our open Wooden Bar on the banks of the Mogol River, where we'll serve something cool to all the exhausted animals visiting our Kingdom. An a la carte Restaurant is available for those who are in the mood for some finer dining.

Molalatau is the perfect venue for a dream wedding, a conference or any other kind of function. The spacious Lion Hall can comfortably accommodate between 250 and 550 people, depending on your type of function. Molalatau also welcomes day visitors who have the opportunity to fish, braai and swim, or simply spend a relaxing day next to the swimming pool. And to top it all, Molalatau is a mere 10km from downtown Lephalale. Very near for a perfect mid-week, weekend or even longer breakaway
