You'll save a lot of time if you are organised. Here's what you'll need:

  • All your copy in a text document that you can copy and paste.
  • A file of images suitable for web for uploading. (You should have two sets of images: high-resolution for print and low-res for web & email. being organised like this will save you hours and hours of time in the long run.)
  • Full street address details, including postal code.
  • Where options exist: web and email addresses, phone & fax numbers, Facebook and Twitter URLs.

To add an entry to the business directory, the steps you will follow are:

  • Open a subscription for your entry.
  • Add your content and photos, together with all other details.

In the business directory, there are a number of options for paid and commission-based entries. Click on Add new listing at the very top of your screen, make your selection and start the submission process. You need to have registered and be logged in to do this.

For Events and Special Offers in the What's on section, adding events is free. Click on Add new event under the main events calendar navigation tab to add an event. For venues to be included in the event listings, they need to be included in the business directory.

Outdated browsers
Many people are still using Internet Explorer 7 which is outdated and is no longer supported by most websites, including banks.

You may not want to upgrade Microsoft Windows, which is required for later versions of Internet Explorer, because of the cost.

We recommend that you use Google Chrome instead of Internet Explorer. It's free, faster and you will have a far better browsing experience. You can do it yourself. Click here to download it.

During registration you get a message that your email is invalid

That's usually caused because you have already registered and you can't register twice. Try logging in with your username or email address, and have your password reset if you can't remember it. For forgotten passwords or usernames, click here.

Invalid token

If you receive a message: "There is a problem submitting your form (invalid token)", it means you are no longer logged on. Leaving a page open while you do other things does not mean you stay logged in, although it will show that you are. Your log in expires after an hour or so. Refresh the page to see your status.
