Rogge Cloof offers fully self-catering accommodation. Except for the Tulip Homestead, units are situated in the Rogge Cloof Village, which is 11 km's from the Reception & main Restaurant area. This allows for a self-game-drive through the reserve, on the way to the units. Roads are gravel, but are accessible to sedans. SUV or 4x4's will however, allow guests the opportunity to explore the reserve more comfortably on their own.
Rogge Cloof operates on solar power, except for the Tulip Homestead, which operates from the national grid.
The solar electrical system does not accommodate appliances such as microwave ovens, hair dryers, coffee makers, or electric kettles. Power sockets for recharging phones & laptops are provided. The units are cosy & warm, with sufficient blankets, hot water bottles & fireplaces. Gas heaters and extra wood are available at a fee.
Weekends may not be broken during periods of high occupancy, such as long-weekends, school holidays & snow season. Child Rates apply to ages 4 - 12 years where individual rates apply. Children up to 3 years old stay for free.
Rogge Brood Restaurant is situated at Reception & is available on pre-booking only. Meal bookings for individuals or small groups are subject to Management discretion & seasonal availability.
