Edenbrook is situated in a part of the Garden Route called Eden. Between Knysna and Plettenberg Bay, a gracious colonial style house with manicured gardens, and orchards, immersed in 20 hectares of pristine forest with a stream running through the bottom of the property - hence the name. With 8 comfortable rooms and a luxury suite, tastefully furnished in period regency décor, the main house hosts the kitchen, where wholesome breakfast are prepared from locally sourced organic ingredients. All the snacks available in the rooms are healthy raw, made and individually packed at Edenbrook.
The reception, dinning and lounge area open onto a large patio, which overlooks a sparkling pool and rolling lawns. The tranquil surroundings are interrupted only by the chirping of the many bird species and the chatting of the vervet monkeys that often come to visit.
It has its own borehole water, vegetable and herb organic “mandala” garden, and free roaming chickens. The bees on the land supply an exquisite honey that is 'liquid gold' for its nutritional value.
