The Cape Region around Somerset West is one of the exceptional and most varied area in the world !! Mediterranean climate, wonderful summer with minimum on rainfall.
A fresh sea breeze makes hot summer days with over 30 degrees comfortable.

Through out the whole year the nature shows all the abundance of color and perfection. Especially from September to October the spring flowers seem to explode in a firework of color.

During the month of August until October the costal region around the Cape is home of the whales. On different places it is possible to view - very close - the mothers with new born whale babies.
